This got evidenced by the murder trial of Gu Kailai and wife of Bo Xilai, where restrictions got made, and authorities were there to ensure no press got involved (World association of newspapers, 2012). In as much as the government makes tough restrictions on journalists, internet has become its principal challenge as concourse and journalists are opting to the media device as a means of spreading information. Media saf ety has also raised concern due to the death of a journalist Mika Yamamoto.
